Ethnoarchaeological Museum of Iclod

In Iclod, Cluj county (Transylvania) there is an Ethnoarchaeological Museum hosted in a manor bought by Prof. Dr. Petre Porutiu from the baron Albert Banffy de Losoncz. The initiative to make the museum came from Prof. Aurel Bulbuc who also organized everything with the support of some personalities from the National Museum of Transylvanian History and the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography.
The museum hosts archeological findings from Iclod County which are of great importance to Transylvanian prehistory, as well as local history  and ethnographical items.
The research methods of archeometry were implemented for the first time in Iclod where there were also organized editions of the National Simposium of Archeometry.
