Aurel Ioan Bulbuc- Short biography


Ioan Aurel Bulbuc, the initiator and organizer of the Ethno-Archaeology Museum from Iclod was born on the 1st of September, 1934 in the village Tauti, Floresti, Cluj County. He attended primary school in the village Baciu and high school (current high school "Emil Racoviţă) in Cluj. After graduated the Military School in Brasov, in 1953, he attended the history-philosophy Facultaty of the “ Babes-Bolyai University” of Cluj-Napoca.

Graduate of The Popular School of Art, Department of choreography, he becomes master choreographer of the first category, winning several diplomas at national and international contests, getting involved also in the organization of some folklore festivals (Aurel-Ioan Bulbuc, “Graiul pământului: pagini din monografia Iclodului”, (The voice of the land: pages from the Iclod monography, Ed.
