Muzeul din Iclod

Muzeul a fost initiat si a organizat de catre Prof. Aurel Bulbuc, cu sprijinul unor personalitati ale Muzeului National de Istorie a Transilvaniei si Muzeului Etnografic al Transilvaniei. Muzeul de Etno-Arheologie, este gazduit intr-un conac care apartine familiei Prof. Dr. Petre Porutiu.
El cuprinde vestigii arheologice descoperite pe teritoriul comunii Iclod care ofera date importante despre preistoria Transilvaniei, elemente de istorie locala si etnografie.
La Iclod au fost aplicate pentru prima data in tara anumite metode de cercetare ale arheometriei si s-au organizat cateva editii ale Simpozionului National de Arheometrie.

Museum of Iclod

In Iclod, Cluj county (Transylvania) there is an Ethnoarchaeological Museum hosted in a manor owned by Prof. Dr. Petre Porutiu family. The initiative to make the museum came from Prof. Aurel Bulbuc who also organized everything with the support of some personalities from the National Museum of Transylvanian History and the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography
The museum hosts archeological findings from Iclod County which are of great importance to Transylvanian prehistory, as well as local history  and ethnographical items.
The research methods of archeometry were implemented for the first time (in Romania) in Iclod where there were also organized editions of the National Simposium of Archeometry.
